Allowance for the severely disabled

Persons of legal age who are unable to undertake gainful employment owing to the severity of their disability may, in certain cases, be eligible to receive the allowance for the severely disabled (revenu pour personnes gravement handicapées - RPGH).

The allowance for the severely disabled is also for people with a recognised disability who have residual abilities allowing them to engage in a professional activity but who – for reasons beyond their control – are unable to find a job that meets their needs.
